Panchalakshani-Shatakoti & Panchalakshani-sarvasvam

The Indian traditional philosophical system holds that the study of Nyaya texts, particularly that of the Navya Nyaya school, is a must, for pursuing the study of any philosophical system. Gangeshopadhyaya was the founder of Navya Nyaya system. Raghunatha Shiromani wrote a valuable commentary named Didhiti on the text. It has a number of commentaries like Gadadhari, Jagadishi and Mathuri etc. Present edition includes Tatvachintamani, Didhit and Mathuri for the portion of Vyapti-panchaka. Dr. Veeranarayana Pandurangi is an eminent scholar of the Nyaya Shastra, has edited Panchalakshani-shatakoti and Panchalakshani-sarvasvam a valuable commentary of Mathuri-Panchalakshani. Panchalakshani-sarvasvam is composed by Rama Shastry, renowned scholar of Nyaya Shastra. It is needless to say that these two commentaries will focus new lihgt on Navya Nyaya Shastra thinkers.
