The great genius of Sri Krishnavadhoota, his works, his contribution to Dvaita, Advaita and Vishishtadvaita schools of thought and his mastery over Kavya, Vyakarana and Alankara is well-known in the circle of learned Sanskrit scholars. Poornaprajna Samshodhana Mandiram has brought out in print two useful unpublished works of this seer-poet. Kavyalakshana-sangraha, has been beautifully planned to divide the work in three layers- Dhvani (tone), Gunibhuta and Chitra (the word-visual). In Kavya-navanita, the poet speaks about the rhetorics (Alankara Shastra) dealing fairly with cognition of objects and on epistemology. Dr K. Shankaranarayana Adiga has edited these two unpublished rare manuscripts, giving very useful notes.
